Most newborn photographers would agree that the ideal age to photograph a newborn is between 4-10 days old. However in some cases you can’t always plan around those days. Take for instance Jordan. This gorgeous baby girl didn’t get to come and see me until she was 22 days old, and she proved to all those newborns and photographers out there that even the older newborns can rock the baskets!! She did so great and I’m sure mom and dad are going to love the peeks! Enjoy!

These are two of the most handsome boys I’ve seen! But really, with gorgeous parents like theirs can you really expect anything else? Baby boy J was a little jumpy and really didn’t like to be even a tiny bit chilly but we managed to get some super cute shots and Big brother J was a totally natural in front of the camera, with a little bribery and my secret weapon . I don’t normally take this long to post a peek up, however it’s been a busy last few days around here so I must apologize for it’s lateness. This gorgeous couple came all the way from Hinton for their session and I can’t wait for their return session when they bring the beautiful little bundle of joy that’s growing inside this tiny little belly. I’m sure looking at mom and dad you’ll all agree that the baby is guaranteed to be absolutely gorgeous!

Getting ready… Kristina was such a gorgeous bride right from the start. The second I walked into the salon and saw her sitting there, hair all curled, getting her make-up on I got excited about how stunning she looked! She seemed totally calm, cool and collected. The transition from work coverals to beautiful bride came very easy for her! See for yourself.

I had the honour of photographing an absolutly gorgeous wedding over the weekend along with my amazing sister Chrystal. We spend the day in Drayton Valley with this great group of men and ladies and had lots of fun! There are so many photos that I want to share so I thought I would start with just one little teaser while I sift through them all! Congrats again Kristina and Derek!

Isn’t he sweet! This little cutie traveled a long way… all the way from Fort McMurray to come and see me, and I guess he figured since he came so far he didn’t want to miss a thing! What a little cutie this baby boy was! He slept like a champ and even gave us a few smiles too! He had the most adorable long blond hair and kept on delivering shot after shot. Thanks again for coming D&J, I hope you enjoy your peeks! I had such a hard time narrowing it down to just a few.

What an absolute dream baby little Kara was to photograph. She slept like a champ and was so itty bitty that she fit into a new basket my mother in law gave me that I was certain would only fit a tiny baby. This beautiful family came all the way from Whitecourt for their photos, and I’m so glad they did. I had a great time photographing their beautiful baby girl and their very energetic little man too! I just LOVE the way she’s grasping onto Daddy’s thumb in this shot. I didn’t even notice that until I was editing it.

It’s easy to see where she gets all that beauty from isn’t it!
